How to reference assemblies to use with IronScheme (having issues)

Aug 25, 2011 at 5:24 PM

I am having issues referencing .NET assemblies to use in IronScheme.

Any time I try to do reference a DLL like this...

(clr-reference System)
(clr-reference System.Data)
(clr-reference System.Windows.Forms)
etc...

I get this error:

  Unhandled exception durring evaluation:&who: "clr-reference" &message: "Assembly not found" &syntax: form: ( <the assembly> ) subform: #f

I call (import (rnrs) (ironscheme clr)) to begin with. Is there something else I have to do?

I saw this post on creating WinForms in IronScheme, but any time I try to do reference a DLL like this:

IF you want to use it for now (without getting/rebuilding source), you can use:

(clr-reference "System.Windows.Forms, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089")

which is what MS seems to recommend.
